Privacy Policy

This policy covers Rise and Ruin Publisher (the "App"), a private tool operated by the owner of the Rise & Ruin YouTube channel (@riseundruin) to manage that channel and its own official social accounts only (Facebook Page, Instagram, Threads and TikTok @riseundruin).
What the App does
The App uses YouTube API Services to upload videos, set titles, descriptions, thumbnails, captions and playlists, schedule publishing, and read analytics for the Rise & Ruin channel. It is used only by the channel owner. It is not offered to other users.
YouTube API Services
The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)
With the owner's permission, the App publishes posts and Reels to the Rise & Ruin Facebook Page, Instagram and Threads accounts and reads their insights. Use is subject to the Meta Terms and Meta Privacy Policy.
TikTok
With the owner's permission (Login Kit), the App reads the basic profile of the owner's own TikTok account (@riseundruin) and uploads the channel's own short videos to that account's TikTok inbox as drafts (Content Posting API). The owner reviews, edits and posts each video in the TikTok app. Use is subject to the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Privacy Policy.
Information accessed and how it is used
- The App accesses, with the owner's permission, only the owner's own accounts: YouTube channel data (videos, metadata, playlists, captions, analytics), the Rise & Ruin Facebook Page, Instagram and Threads content and insights, the TikTok account's basic profile (open ID, display name, avatar), and files the App itself created in the owner's Google Drive.
- This data is used only to publish and manage the owner's videos and to report the channel's performance to the owner.
- The App does not collect, store or process personal information about other people, does not sell or share data with third parties, and does not use data for advertising.
Storage and security
Authorization tokens are stored privately and are never published. Channel analytics are kept only in the owner's private reports.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page. Meta access can be removed under Facebook Settings, Business integrations. TikTok access can be removed in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security, Apps and services.
Data deletion
The App keeps no personal data about other people. To ask for deletion of any stored data, email the contact below; tokens and stored data are deleted within 30 days.
